Add your first client

Create your first client record — names, contact details, and the property where you'll do the work.

Clients are the people you do work for. Every estimate, job, and invoice in Fieldsity hangs off a client — so adding your first one is the natural place to start.

Start a new client

From the Hub, click New client. (You can also open Clients in the sidebar — the same button lives there.)

Fill in their details

The Create client page with primary contact, communications, and additional contacts sections
  1. Enter their First name and Last name. Working with a business? Enter the Company name and tick Use company as primary name instead.

  2. Under Communications, click Add phone and Add email so estimates and invoices can reach them.

  3. Use Additional contacts if more than one person belongs on the account — a spouse, a tenant, or an office manager.

  4. Under Properties, add the address where you'll do the work.

  5. Click Create client.

Note: A client can have more than one property. Add each service address to the same client and pick the right one when you book a job — no duplicate clients needed.

What happens next

Your new client now has a profile — home to their properties, contact details, jobs, estimates, invoices, and notes. The natural next step is booking work for them: see How do I create a new job?
