Create a pricebook

Set up a pricebook and add items with cost, markup, price, and tax settings.

Set up a pricebook once and your whole team quotes from the same, correct prices.

Create the pricebook

Open Pricebooks in the sidebar and click New Pricebook. Give it a name (like "Landscaping Services") and a short description. It opens ready for items, with All, Products, and Services tabs.

Add an item

Click New item and fill in the details:

  1. Item name and Type — Service or Product.

  2. Cost (what it costs you), Markup %, and Unit price (what you charge). Set the Rate type — for example, Per Item or per square foot.

  3. Add a Description your clients will see, and set Taxable on or off.

  4. Save. The item joins your pricebook, ready to drop into any estimate or invoice.

Tip: Set Cost and Markup % and Fieldsity works out the unit price for you — handy for keeping a consistent margin across your catalog.
