If you quote the same kind of work over and over, a template does the typing for you — save it once, and every future estimate starts pre-filled.
Create a template
Open Estimates, click Templates, then New Template — or choose Create a template from the new-estimate screen.
Give the template a Template name you'll recognize (for example, "Spring cleanup") and an optional description.
Under Estimate Defaults, set the job type, job name, description, and the line items you use for this kind of work.
Save it. It's now in your Templates list, ready to reuse.
Use a template
Starting a new estimate, choose Use a template and pick one. The estimate opens with everything filled in — adjust the client, tweak the numbers, and send. What would've been ten minutes of typing is a few clicks.
Tip: Build a template for each service you offer. Consistent quotes look professional and go out the door faster.
