Create an estimate

Quote work from scratch or a template — dates, client, line items, done.

An estimate is your quote — the work, the price, and how long the offer stands. Clients approve it, and approved estimates become jobs without retyping a thing.

Start one

From the Hub click New estimate, or open Estimates and click New Estimate. You'll get three ways in:

The new estimate chooser with start from scratch, use a template, and create a template options
  • Start from scratch — a blank estimate.

  • Use a template — pre-fill from a saved template, for work you quote again and again.

  • Create a template — build the reusable version first.

Fill in the details

The create estimate form with dates, job type, client, service address, job name, and description
  1. Check the Estimate date and Valid until — the offer expires after that date.

  2. Choose the Client and Service address, and optionally a Job type.

  3. Give it a concise Job name and a Description the client will recognize.

  4. Add your line items from the pricebook, then save. New estimates start in Draft — nothing reaches the client until you send it.

Tip: Quote the same service often? Save it as a template once and every future estimate is pre-filled.
