An estimate is your quote — the work, the price, and how long the offer stands. Clients approve it, and approved estimates become jobs without retyping a thing.
Start one
From the Hub click New estimate, or open Estimates and click New Estimate. You'll get three ways in:
Start from scratch — a blank estimate.
Use a template — pre-fill from a saved template, for work you quote again and again.
Create a template — build the reusable version first.
Fill in the details
Check the Estimate date and Valid until — the offer expires after that date.
Choose the Client and Service address, and optionally a Job type.
Give it a concise Job name and a Description the client will recognize.
Add your line items from the pricebook, then save. New estimates start in Draft — nothing reaches the client until you send it.
Tip: Quote the same service often? Save it as a template once and every future estimate is pre-filled.
Next: Send an estimate.
