Open and manage a visit

The work order: what's on it and the four actions — photos, time, done, cancel.

Click any visit — on the Calendar or from its job — and its work order opens: everything about that trip to the property, in one view.

A visit's work order with client and property cards, job description, details panel, and action buttons

What's on the work order

  • Client and property cards — who it's for and where, with jump links to the full client and property records.

  • The job description — what the visit is there to do.

  • Details panel — status, schedule, assigned worker, job type, value, and tags.

  • TabsDetails, Work for logging what happened, and Time Log for hours on the clock.

  • The JOB chip in the top corner jumps to the job this visit belongs to.

  • Activity — the feed at the bottom keeps a running history of changes to the visit, so you can always see what happened and when.

The four actions

  • Photos — attach job-site photos to the visit.

  • Log time — record time worked on this visit.

  • Mark done — completes the visit. Finished work starts counting in Ready to invoice on your Hub.

  • Cancel — calls the visit off and takes it off the calendar.

Note:Mark done finishes the work — it never bills the client. Invoicing is always a separate, deliberate step, so nothing goes out until you send it.
